Pedestrian hit, injured by vehicle in South San Jose

SAN JOSE – A pedestrian was hit and injured by a vehicle in South San Jose on Tuesday night, police said.
The collision was reported about 7:10 p.m. near Senter Road and Monterey Highway.
The pedestrian’s injuries were not considered life-threatening, the San Jose Police Department said in a tweet.
No other information about the crash was immediately available.
The westbound direction of Senter Road was closed from Seven Trees Boulevard to Monterey Highway for an investigation.
