Rather than pursue a relationship with his final two contestants, Tayshia Adams and Hannah Godwin, Underwood famously jumped a fence and slipped into the night.

Accustomed to the breakneck pace that The Bachelor franchise provides, the former football player attempted to take their relationship at a pace that wasn’t natural or realistic.
