Taylor Swift has been stepping in to help during the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. The pop star is encouraging fans to stay home and is donating funds to various relief organizations. But Swift is now proving how big her heart is by sending money directly to fans that have lost income due to the crisis.

To curb the rapid spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus, Taylor Swift asked her followers to make “social sacrifices” and consider the safety of those around them. “I’m seeing lots of get-togethers and hangs and parties still happening,” she wrote in an Instagram story.
“This is the time to cancel plans, actually truly isolate as much as you can, and don’t assume that because you don’t feel sick that you aren’t possibly passing something on to someone elderly or vulnerable to this.”

In another Instagram post, Swift shared a photo of her cat Meredith sitting alone in her little cat house. “For Meredith, self quarantining is a way of life,” she captioned the picture. “Be like Meredith.”
The pop star used the Kanye West phone call video to raise money for relief organizations
When the video of her 2016 phone call with Kanye West was leaked online, Swift took the attention and focused it on COVID-19 relief efforts. “Instead of answering those who are asking how I feel about video footage that was leaked, proving that I was telling the truth the whole time about *that call* (you know, the one that was illegally recorded, that somebody edited and manipulated in order to frame me and put me, my family, and fans through hell for 4 years),” she wrote in a March 23 Instagram story. “Swipe up to see what really matters.”
