One of the most beloved sitcoms of the past decade is NBC’s Parks and Recreation. The series is a simple workplace comedy about the people who are employed at a local government office in a small Indiana town, but it really resonated with audiences. One concept many got on board with was the idea of Galentine’s Day, a holiday created by the show. Though it’s been off the air for years, a few of the cast members had a reunion to celebrate the day. Here’s a look at those women and what they’re doing now in their careers.

Parks and Rec is a landmark show for a number of reasons. But one of its greatest accomplishments is the creation of Galentine’s Day. Season 2 Episode 16 introduces the concept. Every year on Feb. 13, Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) gets together with a group of female friends to celebrate their love for one another.
Galentine’s Day is truly a part of the essence of what makes the show so wholesome. And it’s a tradition that continues throughout the series’ seven-season run. Some of the women change, but the concept remains the same: Women who want to lift one another up and support each other, no matter what.

Now, many people celebrate Galentine’s Day on their own. And it seems as though this includes some of the former stars of Parks and Rec. On Feb. 13, 2020, Aubrey Plaza (who played April Ludgate) shared a photo with three other women, which she captioned “happy galentines day.”
In the photo are two of the three other female leads: Poehler and Rashida Jones (who portrayed Anne Perkins). Joining them (all the way on the left) is Kathryn Hahn, who recurred from Season 4 through Season 7. From the main cast, the only woman missing is Donna Meagle (played by Retta).
