Ever wanted to find out if your salsa or chili recipe is as terrific as you think it is?
Put it to the test. The Redwood City Salsa Festival and the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk Chili Cook-Off are seeking entrants for their upcoming events.
The Salsa Festival will be held Sept. 21 at Courthouse Square. Amateurs and professionals will compete for cash prizes for people’s choice, best mild salsa, best hot salsa and best decorated booth. The deadline for entries is Aug. 30; find details at www.redwoodcity.org (click on events).
