Jenelle Evans claimed to cops investigating the death of her dog that she made the story up for publicity but multiple sources told RadarOnline.com exclusively that her husband testified in court that he shot and killed the family pet.

The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office told Radar that they found “no physical evidence,” that David Eason killed the dog and dropped their investigation of animal cruelty. The Sheriff’s Office told Radar Jenelle told them “the reason she filed the animal cruelty report was for the publicity and because she did not know where her dog was.”

As Radar readers were the first to know, Jenelle was fired by MTV from Teen Mom 2 after the dog killing incident.

Multiple sources told Radar about David’s testimony during the custody hearing about the killing, where he claimed Nugget was a “mad dog.”

One source told Radar that not only did David admit that he killed Nugget on the stand, he contemplated killing their other dog.

“He admitted it on the stand. He said after their other dog, Jax, killed the pig and a few chickens he even considered killing Jax. But he didn’t want the backlash from social media so he got rid of him.”

According to the source, David’s daughter Maryssa testified on the stand that her father killed the dog. Jenelle’s friend Katrina also testified that David killed the dog. “Katrina said that Jenelle told her David killed the dog,” the second source told Radar.

While their children were initially taken away during a Child Protective Services investigation, a judge ruled that they were to be returned to Jenelle and David on July 3, 2019.
