The highly-anticipated reboot of Roseanne is debuting on ABC in just one month and RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that EP and star Sara Gilbert is “stressed out” over whether or not The Conners will be a success!
“Sara is very stressed out right now because filming is not going as well as everyone had hoped,” a source close to Gilbert, 43, said.

“It just does not feel the same without Roseanne and she knows that the entire fate of the show is falling on her.”
“It’s adding a lot of pressure to her already busy life,” the insider told Radar, referring to the fact that, in addition to Roseanne, the mother of three is also a regular on CBS’s The Talk.
“No one is quite sure how the audience will respond and it is not awful by any means. They have all worked so hard to try and make this show funny.”
“But they all know that the whole world will be watching the premiere episode to find out how they kill off Roseanne’s character. They are just hoping that the audience will stick with them during this transition,” the source revealed.

As fans know, Roseanne Barr, 65, was fired in May after making controversial comments on Twitter about former President Barack Obama’s onetime aide, Valerie Jarrett.
Radar was the first to report that, after her shocking dismissal, the remaining cast held an emergency meeting in hopes of saving the show.
The Conners will premiere on Tuesday, October 16 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
