Danville seeks two to serve on arts commission

DANVILLE — Danville is seeking two people to serve on its arts commission.

City Clerk Marie Sunseri said the positions available are one regular position ending June 30, 2019, and one alternate position for a four-year term.

The responsibilities of the arts commission include promoting interest and support for the arts in Danville, informing the community of art and cultural events and recommending policies about art and cultural activities.

Applications are available on the town’s website at www.danville.ca.gov/commissionrecruitment.

The Town Council will interview applicants on the evenings of June 6 and June 19. Commissioners will be appointed at the June 19 Town Council meeting.
