Poppy responds to Mars Argo abuse allegations, lawsuit

Internet personality Poppy has responded to abuse allegations and a lawsuit filed by fellow YouTuber Mars Argo, real name Brittany Sheets, calling the accusations “false.” In a statement posted to her Twitter account, Poppy — whose legal name is Moriah Pereira — writes that both she and creative partner Corey Mixter were surprised to learn of the lawsuit via TMZ. “It would appear Ms. Sheets was intent on building a publicity campaign around her filing of a complaint and was not interested in our lawyers first having a serious discussion about the merits of her claims,” she writes.
