Tickets for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival are always among the hottest around.
And with superstar Beyonce, rapper Eminem and R&B star The Weeknd topping this year’s bill, the show is likely to again sell out soon after passes go on sale at noon Friday, Jan. 5.
The festival, which announced its lineup Tuesday afternoon, runs April 13-15 and April 20-22 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio.

When do tickets go on sale?
Noon pacific Friday, Jan. 5, only at www.coachella.com.
How much are Coachella 2018 tickets?
Prices are $429 for a three-day general admission pass; $504 for a general admission pass with a shuttle pass; $999 for a VIP pass; $150 for VIP parking (must be a VIP ticketholder to enter); $113 for car camping and tent camping; $60 for companion parking for campers and $75 for a shuttle pass.
There are also Los Angeles International Airport shuttles and more luxury camping packages online at www.coachella.com. The prices include all fees, except for international shipping.
In recent years, passes have sold out within hours of going on sale.
Didn’t the festival sell out in June?
Coachella put a limited number of passes on sale in June and those did sell out quickly. In fact, before the official on-sale, the Coachella site noted that general admission passes for weekend one were unavailable and only GA with a shuttle pass is available for the first weekend.
What should I do before I buy tickets?
Set up an account through the Coachella site so you can be ready on Friday. Don’t do it the day of the on-sale.
How long does it take to get Coachella tickets?
It depends. When you enter the queue, some people have luck right away and others are waiting for a while.
What’s the difference between weekend one and weekend two?
The main lineup is the same. Some times are slightly modified and there are usually a few local acts added on and off for each weekend. Other specialty stages outside of Coachella’s main seven, like the DoLab and the Heineken House, have completely different lineups each weekend.
