After condemning Harvey Weinstein, Ben Affleck is accused of groping actress in 2003

Maybe there is a reason Ben Affleck took nearly a week to address growing allegations that his former mega-producer friend and collaborator Harvey Weinstein had sexually harassed and assaulted actresses and other women he worked with.

That’s because hours after Affleck finally spoke up Tuesday to say he was “saddened and angry” over the Weinstein allegations — and that we must “condemn this type of behavior when we see it” — the A-list star was reminded on social media that perhaps his own record on treating women inappropriately issue isn’t so clean.

After a fan suggested that Affleck should have “kept quiet,” another Twitter user wrote, “He also grabbed Hilarie Burton’s breasts on TRL once. Everyone forgot though.”

The incident happened when the now 35-year-old Burton was hosting MTV’s TRL, People said. The breast-grabbing was caught on camera.

Burton, a “One Tree Hill” alum, didn’t hold back in responding to the tweet, bluntly saying, “I didn’t forget.”

“I’m so sorry that happened to you,” the fan wrote back. “It’s infuriating that people never bring up all the gross, predatory things he’s done.”

Burton then shared a clip of TRL outtakes in which she says, “He comes over and tweaks my left boob,” apparently speaking about Affleck. Later in the video, the actor is shown asking her, “How old are you — 19?

“Girls. I’m so impressed with you brave ones,” Burton, who is expecting her second child with The Walking Dead star Jeffrey Dean Morgan, wrote in the tweet. “I had to laugh back then so I wouldn’t cry. Sending love.”

Meanwhile, Affleck faced increasing criticism from actress Rose McGowan, one of the women revealed to have reached a settlement with Weinstein. Over the weekend, she blasted Affleck and other male stars, including Matt Damon, Russell Crowe and Affleck’s brother Casey Affleck, for their silence on Weinstein, following last week’s bombshell expose about the disgraced Hollywood kingmaker in the New York
