Amber Tamblyn has penned an open letter to James Woods, saying he should go “inward” and deal with his “darkness,” instead of accusing her of lying when she recently claimed that he tried to pick her up when she was 16.

Tamblyn shared her letter with Teen Vogue Wednesday, two days after she and actor Armie Hammer engaged in an all-day Twitter feud of sorts with Woods.

The feud started when the provocative and conservative Woods, 70, suggested that the theme of Hammer’s new gay romantic drama could be a viewed as a defense of pedophilia and other sexually predatory behavior. Hammer’s “Call Me By Your Name” tells the story of a 24-year-old graduate student who falls in love with a 17-year-old son.

In a tweet, Woods referred to the pedophilia advocacy organization North American Man/Boy Love Association when he wrote: “As they quietly chip away the last barriers of decency. #NAMBLA.”

Woods didn’t respond immediately to Hammer or Tamblyn’s comments, but he eventually accused Tamblyn of lying in a response to someone else’s tweet.

The first is illegal. The second is a lie.

Tamblyn wasn’t going to let Woods’ accusation go. She responded with a screenshot of a text showing a friend basically confirming her memory of Woods trying to pick her up.

“Damn totally forgot about that,” the friend replied.

Teen Vogue also received the open letter from Tamblyn, in which Tamblyn doesn’t just accuse Woods of
