Disgraced reality TV star Josh Duggar and wife Anna have fifth child

Disgraced reality TV star Josh Duggar, who presumably would call himself a recovering porn addict, has become a father for the fifth time after his wife Anna gave birth to a baby boy, the Daily Mail is reporting.

The news was announced on the Duggar Family’s official website Tuesday along with a photo of the newborn, Mason Garrett Duggar, seen cuddled up in a knitted blanket with a matching beanie.

“Our newest grandson is here!! Mason Garrett Duggar! You can see his first picture on our family website,” the accompanying caption reads.

The arrival of baby Mason appears to be happy news for the couple and for their Arkansas-based reality TV family, which was rocked by a child molestation scandal involving Josh, 29, back in 2015. The scandal hit around the time that Anna gave birth to the couple’s fourth child, Meredith Grace.

The Duggars moreover faced a torrent of criticism after it was learned that patriarch Jim Bob did not formally report the incident to law enforcement.

Since then, the Duggars have been working hard to try and rebuild their reality empire. While TLC cancelled the popular “19 Kids and Counting” after nine seasons and vowed to never air any past episodes, the network quickly moved to create a new show that focused on sisters Jill and Jesse, who were both married and starting their own families. The Duggars also keep up their website, offering parenting, spiritual advice and cooking advice. Jim Bob and matriarch Michelle also will be keynote speakers at the
